Connect Codex and Claude
HiveMind includes an MCP server. MCP lets approved assistants search, read, and write wiki pages using the same permissions as the connected account.
Before you connect
Section titled “Before you connect”Ask your administrator whether your device already has the HiveMind Wiki plugin and MCP connection installed. If it does, you do not need to create another connection.
Connection details
Section titled “Connection details”The HiveMind MCP endpoint is:

name and icon are HiveMind.
Personal access tokens
Section titled “Personal access tokens”Some desktop and command-line clients require a personal access token.
- Open Settings in HiveMind.
- Open API tokens.
- Create a token with only the permissions you need.
- Store the token in your client’s secure configuration.
- Restart the client after adding or changing the connection.
[!CAUTION] Treat a personal access token like a password. Never paste it into a wiki page, chat message, issue, screenshot, or Git repository.
Codex and Claude plugin
Section titled “Codex and Claude plugin”The cross-compatible HiveMind Wiki plugin contains the source-configuration and wiki-maintenance skills used by Codex and Claude. Your administrator can provide the approved installation link and connector configuration for your device.
Permission model
Section titled “Permission model”An assistant can only work with spaces and actions allowed by the connected account and token. Review proposed changes when the information is important or sensitive.
